I found this recipe over at thecurvycarrot.com by way of tastespotting.com
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
- garlic powder to taste
- salt to taste
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
1. Season salmon with garlic powder and salt
2. In a bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, vegetable oil and water until sugar is dissolved. Put salmon is a resealable plastic bag with sauce mixture*
3. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours**
4. Preheat grill***. Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side or until fish flakes easily with fork.
* The next time I make this recipe I will probably use a big bowl instead of a plastic bag. I feel like the salmon will marinate better that way.
** Letting the salmon sit in the sauce is very essential. If it doesn't have time to soak in you won't be able to taste the flavors
*** I use a George Foreman grill because I am in a dorm room and it cooks amazingly.
